Jackson Richardson and “Les barjots” (« crazy », nickname of the team), winners of the 1995 World Men's Handball Championship and bronze medalists at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, decided to do their last tour in support of an humanitarian action made by UVS International in the city of Saint-Louis, Senegal.

During this visit in Saint-Louis (from June 23^rd to June 30^th), they faced Senegal national team and conducted technical skills and playful workshops for young players and leaders of the Senegal handball league.

Beyond the sporting aspect of this humanitarian action, the main objective was to collect the maximum pairs of handball shoes and it was a success! Thanks to their massive joint effort, UVS International and “les Barjots” managed to collect more than 5,000 pairs of shoes.
