Cédric Kanté, UVS International’s sponsor and Simon Pouplin (Sochaux FC) went to our school in Mali in oder to renovate the classroom.
An association's delegation went in Mali from May 18th to 26th in order to visit our school that opened in 2008 thanks to the UNESCO. Different activities were scheduled : renovation of the classroom, meeting new pupils, some sports activities and also visiting the apprenticeship training center in Bamako where our first 30 residents, who ended their scholar education, are currently having vocational trainings in sectors such as mechanics, dye-making or carpentry.
It has to be noted that two of our former pupils graduated as laureates of their promotion. Congratulations to them!
Also congratulations to Michèle DJOUNDO, the school’s director whose work has already paid off.
